Greenwood United Methodist Church Worship: 8:45 a.m.
A Little Bit Country with a Whole lot of Soul!
Come worship in a small membership church nestled on the fringes of Cook Forest, Pennsylvania. Greenwood United Methodist Church has been worshiping since the late 1800's. Our present sanctuary was expanded and dedicated in 1905 from its original log structure. The interior of our church is a beautiful example of early 20th century craftsmanship using cherry and oak woodwork. Our Friendship Hall, used for socials, fund raisers, and special services, was dedicated in 1998.
Do you seek the solitude of connecting with God and His Son, Jesus Christ? Greenwood United Methodist Church offers the tranquility of a small park with tables and benches amid the tall virgin pines and quietness of rural living. Greenwood Cemetery is of historical value containing many local heroes of our nation's wars, including: both World Wars, the Korean War, and Viet Nam. We welcome you to our quaint little corner of God's kingdom as you join with us in the journey of discovering God's love.
